Diani
(south coast)

Diani is the third tourist town on the Kenyan coast. Destination especial prefered by the British people, located south of Mombasa, you can reach by air or by land through the channel connecting the island to the south coast of Mombasa with a ferry. A hub of major interest on the Kenyan coastal holidays, long stretch of white sand beach bordering by palm trees. A paved road connects the different resorts, villages, shops and shopping centers. Among the various activities that can be done in Diani apart from relaxing on the beach, you can go underwater sports, kite surfing and deep-sea fishing, a wonderful camel ride or simply walk along this wonderful Kenyan beach. The Diani  beaches are very different from those of the northern coast and therefore deserve to be seen, even by those staying on the north coast. On the inner side of Diani Road, opens attractions of natural forest, with vervet monkeys and tiara among a variety of birds like the hoarse lofocero bugler, plus almost  500 Angolan colobus monkeys, 10% of the population existing in East Africa. The O.N.G. Colobus Trust founded in 1997 after the killing of several monkeys from moving cars, erected the so-called “colobridges”wire and plastic bridges, in 26 strategic points to allow the monkeys to cross on above the street.
